Bio

Zihad Azad received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2018 and then joined the BUET Nanophotonics Research group where he worked till December 2020, conducting research on plasmonic nanolasers. He joined the Schuller Lab in the summer of 2021 as a PhD student. His current research pursuit deals with novel radiative properties of 2D perovskites. In his spare time, he likes reading books, playing Sitar, and going for long runs.
